Trek through dense bamboo and pine forest to our private campsite at 1,400 m elevation. Pitch your tent as the sun melts behind layered mountain ridges, then spend the night in total darkness listening to the forest breathe. Wake to mist rolling over the peaks and breakfast cooked on an open fire.
✦ Day-by-Day (Adventure Tier)
Meet your guide at 7 AM in central Vientiane. Transfer by 4WD to the mountain trailhead (~2 hrs). Begin trekking through bamboo forest and ascending ridge paths. Arrive at camp by late afternoon. Set up tents, gather firewood, and enjoy a traditional Lao dinner as the stars appear.
Rise early for the sunrise from the ridge (optional guided stargazing the night before). Breakfast over the fire, then tackle the short summit push for panoramic views over Laos and distant Thailand. Afternoon detour to a hidden waterfall. Return to camp for the second night.
Morning coffee at camp with the mist still below you. Pack up and descend via an alternative trail through a traditional highland village, where you can browse local crafts. Return to Vientiane by 3 PM with memories that'll last a lifetime.
